GameSpy is the latest site to feature a preview of Frozen Throne, taking a look at the beta build of the Warcraft 3 expansion pack.

Also on PC.IGN is this preview of Warcraft 3: Frozen Throne, based on some play time with the beta. New screenshots and videos are included.

There's a preview of Frozen Throne on Action Trip, offering some hands-on impressions of this Warcraft 3 expansion pack. The preview goes over the new features and units, and some screenshots are included as well. Another preview can be found at PC Gameworld.

PC.IGN has posted their own Frozen Throne impressions, taking a six page look at this upcoming Warcraft 3 expansion pack.

The little green (yet not aliens..I think) men at GameSpy have posted a preview of Frozen Throne, the upcoming expansion pack for Warcraft 3. In the first part of the preview, the author looks at Human and Night Elf units and spells and gives us an overview of the story. Don't forget to sign up for the beta.

Blizzard let us know that starting tomorrow, you will be able to sign up to test the Warcraft 3 expansion pack Frozen Throne by going to http://www.battle.net/register/war3xbeta" rel="nofollow" target="_blank" class="external. Some 10,000 people will be able to participate in the beta. Registration starts at 1PM CST and will end next Friday.

Blizzard has unveiled another Warcraft 3 unit to appear in the Frozen Throne expansion pack, this time it's the Mountain Giant, a Night Elf unit. Also check out the latest screenshot.

Blizzard has updated the Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne page with a look at one of the new Undead heroes, which is the Crypt Lord. Pretty much a nasty bug.

BoltGames.net let us know about a new 1.04c patch for Warcraft 3 that only seem to be available through the autoupdater right now. There's only a few bug fixes. Update: looks like there's a 1.05 already, thanks Faluzure.

Blizzard's own Insider site has a Warcraft 3: The Frozen Throne interview with Bill Roper. Questions are about altering the gameplay, how neutral heroes will benefit players, the marketplace feature, beta testing and more.

The Warcraft3 expansion pack just got revealed the other day, how about a little Q&A time then? Here's a GameSpy interview with Rob Pardo of Blizzard Entertainment discussing elements of the pack.

Though not on Blizzard.com at the moment, WorthPlaying has the official announcement of The Frozen Throne, the first expansion pack for Warcraft 3 (as first mentioned in this story). Due out this summer for $35, here's what will be included

- One new Hero per race, each possessing powerful spells and magical abilities specifically designed to enhance each race
- A host of new units, each equipped with new abilities and spells, giving players the opportunity to create diverse strategic and tactical forms of combat
- 3 new tilesets featuring extraordinary new lands to explore, complete with numerous creeps and critters to wage war upon
- Player-built shops, unique for each race, equipped with items carefully designed to improve and aid the units of every race
- Neutral buildings, which will provide players with numerous new upgrades, items and abilities
- Neutral Heroes, available for recruitment by all players, that can supplement and strengthen a player's army with all new spells and abilities
- An advanced world editor that allows players to create their own custom campaigns, complete with cut-scenes and voiceovers
- Many new multiplayer maps
- Expanded multiplayer options over Battle.net® including multiple new game types, clan and tournament support

Warcraftiii.net is reporting that the February issue of Computer Gaming World has an article about an upcoming expansion pack for Warcraft 3 titled The Frozen Throne. There's not much info than that at this point, but hey, something for the WC3 fans to get crazy about.

Blizzard let us know that they have released three Warcraft 3 maps, which were previously found on demo CDs handed out in the AMC movie theaters. The downloads range from 150kb to 210kb in size, not exactly huge like the Xbox.

For those of you who hadn't picked up Warcraft 3: Reign of Chaos yet, the promised demo is now out. If you do have the game, the demo might still be of interest, as the included levels are exclusive to this demo, and chronicle the Orcs' journey from Lordaeron to Kalimdor. Blizzard today announced that starting tomorrow, a Warcraft 3 cinematic trailer will run before movies like James Bond: Die Another Day, Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers, Star Trek: Nemesis, and Solaris. Additionally, AMC Theatres will be handing out Warcraft 3 demo discs containing three new single- and three new multi-player levels. This demo should be released online early December according to GameSpot.
