Warcraft 3 Patch 1.22a Released

Blizzard has issued a new patch for Warcraft 3, updating the original game and Frozen Throne expansion pack from version 1.21b to version 1.22a. You can get the updates through Battle.net, or FileShack.

Among other things the patch introduces a replay auto-save function, offers several balancing changes and fixes two exploits. There are also four new maps from contest winners. Click through for the full changelist ... Read more

Blizzard has issued a new patch for Warcraft 3, updating the original game and Frozen Throne expansion pack to version 1.21b. The update at long last removes the game's CD check.

A new patch for the original Warcraft 3 and its Frozen Throne expansion pack are now available, updating both to v1.20c. Like the previous patch, this update fixes a bug that could crash multiplayer games.

It's been a couple of weeks, but Blizzard has finally released a new Warcraft 3: Frozen Throne bonus map. Bomber Command, as the latest one is called, is a small sized map recommended for 3v3 games.

The yearly Halloween themed Warcraft 3: Frozen Throne bonus map is now available over at Battle.net. Extreme Candy War 2005 is a medium sized map recommended for 4v4 or 5v5 play, and is an update of last year's Extreme Candy War map. A changelist can be found here.
