Saw on Stomped that a new patch for the massively multiplayer war game World War 2 Online is now available through the auto-update system. There are 8 changes including a fix for terrain collision.

An update on the World War 2 Online site has word of all the changes in the 1.20 patch of this massively multiplayer game. This patch was released already last week. They also have a list of possible things to fix for 1.21.

WW2 Online Patch

According to this forum post, a new 1.3mb patch for the massively multiplayer game World War 2 Online is available through the ingame updater now. This patch now allows Windows 95 users to play the game, addresses some memory issues, and fixes some other misc. issues. Saw that on Blues News.

The publisher of World War 2 online, the massively multiplayer game that's being plagued by all kinds of problems, has announced that the 30 day trial period will be extended for all players. While the problems are being fixed, everyone can play for free.

The Adrenaline Vault has contacted World War 2 Online publisher SFI about the problems that have been plagueing the game. They are working on increasing their server capacity, since almost noone can play now.

We posted a story on Tuesday about the going gold of a new massively multiplayer online game called World War 2 online. But we didn't have any screenshots to show you. But here they are to see if it's going to be poo (although of course you can't judge gameplay from screenshots, but just like graphics aren't everything, you're not gonna play a CGA game just because it's fun either).

Meanwhile on Lum the Mad is a report from a beta tester of the game who says the game isnt ready at all yet. Patchware?
