Publisher Sega has released a new trailer for WOW Entertainment's tactical RPG Valkyria Chronicles, showing off the Scout class.

A PlayStation 3 exclusive, Valkyria Chronicles lands on November 11, but a demo will appear tomorrow on the PlayStation Store.

Sega has announced that it will release a demo for its PlayStation 3-exclusive tactical RPG Valkyria Chronicles next week.

Featuring two levels, the demo will appear in the PlayStation Store October 9. The full version of Valkyria Chronicles, developed by WOW Entertainment, will be in North American stores November 11.

At a press event earlier this week, publisher Sega clarified the release plans for its stylish tactical RPG Valkyria Chronicles and Obsidian's spy-centric RPG Alpha Protocol.

Previously penciled for a vague fall arrival, Valkyria Chronicles (PS3) is now slated to debut in North America this November.

Meanwhile, Alpha Protocol (PC, PS3, 360) is projected for a February 2009 release, firming up that "early 2009" estimate.

Sega today released a new trailer showing off its PlayStation 3-exclusive RPG Valkyria Chronicles.

Powered by Sega's internally-developed CANVAS engine, Valkyria is shaping up to be one of the more striking examples of a cartoon-quality graphical style. The game itself is set in a fictional version of 1930s Europe, with combat that features a mix of tactical battle and real-time controls.

Expect Valkyria Chronicles to hit sometime this fall on PlayStation 3.

Sega today announced that its visually distinctive RPG Valkyria Chronicles will receive a North American release this fall exclusively on the PlayStation 3.

Valkyria Chronicles is set in a fictional version of 1930s Europe. Using Sega's internally-developed CANVAS graphics engine, the game will sport striking 3D graphics reminiscent of watercolor paintings. Combat will be a mix of tactical battle with real-time controls, a system dubbed "BLiTZ" by the development team.

Sega also handed over a few screenshots of the game, allowing for an early gander at the CANVAS engine.
