The Unreal Technology page has been updated with a new version of the OpenGL renderer for Unreal Tournament. The only fix is the "black screen at exit bug". Thanks Stomped.
The Unreal Fortress site has a new version of this Unreal Tournament mod available. It's a 3mb update fixing health, ammo and armour pickups in 3rd party maps and updating My-Monkey and Spritzer. Thanks Stomped.
The UrbanTerror guys have another
new update on their impressive looking mod showing off one of the helicopters and giving
out a fair amount of detail on what is going on.
A new UnrealFortress has been
released hitting build v600 and fixing an incredible 100 bugs as well as adding 4 newly
revised weapon models among tons of other changes. Also 9 different maps have been updated

A new version of the Unreal Tournament mod Jail Break has been released. This new release fixes "a minor plethora of issues", which includes instagib being turned back on, fixing the team size issue, fixing custom bots, increased difficulty for llamas and more. Thanks Erik.

UT Predator has conducted an interview with Inoxx, the Epic level designer. They talk about his nickname, when he got interested in game development, how long he takes to create a map and other questions related to editing. Thanks Dean.
Epic's Steve Polge has been interviewed at ozUnreal, the Australian Unreal Community. They ask the programmer what he did before going to Epic, the AI in UT, if he's doing any work on Unreal 2, making a game aimbot-proof and a couple of other things.
The Unreal Tournament EAX page at Creative.com is now offering EAX enhancements for the CTF levels in UT. They had previously released these enhancements for the Deathmatch levels. Thanks Blues News.
Unreal Tournament Jailbreak2 has been released. You can grab it from the official website or straight from
FilePlanet. Here's what the word is: "The biggest improvement has to be the maps.
While the original featured only four maps, three of them by myself, the new version comes
with no less than twelve maps by five different people."
The first version of Unreal Tournament TV has been released. This mod allows people to spectate during a game while the game server only hosts 1 extra player (who broadcasts) so load is minimal for that server. Thanks destrukt.
CPL has opened up
sign-ups for their $25,000 Unreal Tournament event to be held in Texas. The event is
scheduled to be held in June which isnt too far from now.
The UT Urban Terror website has a couple of
updates showing off some pretty impressive looking stuff like their new UI that is getting
in to place as well as a mention of finalizing feature lists.
