According to the NVIDIA developer blog, Unreal Tournament 3 will support DirectX10 and is part of the "The Way Its Meant To Be Played" program. There's no word on what DX10 will mean for the game. Thanks Voodoo Extreme.

This Gamasutra story reports on the Tim Sweeney's talk at the CEDEC Premium event (part of the Tokyo Game Show), which covered a variety of topics including multicore programming, the Cell CPU, and UT2007 mod content appearing on the PS3 thanks to Sony's open online network. The end of the story quotes Epic's Jay Wilbur as saying UT2007 is still quite a ways away "We are planning on shipping [in] Q2 or early Q3, 2007."

In case you were wondering about Unreal Tournament 2007 demo plans, this post by Steve Polge on the Epic Games forums mentions that a demo will be released "long enough before we go gold to be able to incorporate feedback".
