Bethesda has released the second video from The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind. "Virtual Fantasy World" focuses on the detail and interactivity in this upcoming RPG. There's a 17.2mb Bink version and a 6.1mb Quicktime version.

Morrowind To Ship In 2002

Bethesda today announced that The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind will ship in the Spring of 2002 for PC and the Xbox. In addition, Elderscrolls.com has the first in a series of short videos from the game. The first video is narrated by project leader Todd Howard who discusses the tech aspects of Morrowind.

GameSpot has gotten word of a possible delay of Morrowind. This is based on a couple of etailers updating their release info. Thing is sometimes publishers tell etailers the right thing, and sometimes it's just magic smoke coming out of their butts.

RPGVault posted the 5th installment of their Morrowind Q&A, this time focussing on the magic system.
... I've really enjoyed creating spells that I use to torture-test the magic system. I have a spell called, well, let's say it's the same thing that's on Samuel Jackson's wallet in Pulp Fiction. This spell summons three creatures to do my bidding, adds some bound armor and a bound longsword, and increases my speed ability ...
But wait, there's more! The official Morrowind site has been updated with a Team Diary, talking about the X-Box version and how they deal with issues like the lack of a mouse and keyboard, there's a new wallpaper and a new piece of fiction.
