Tecmo has released a teaser trailer for Tecmo Bowl: Kickoff, a Nintendo DS revival of the classic NES football franchise.

Launching in November the Nintendo DS, the game will feature stylus control, customizable playbooks, classic Tecmo Bowl-style cutscenes, and multiplayer over wireless and Wi-Fi internet. It will not, however, pack an NFL license, which means unstoppable touchdown machine Bo Jackson will regrettably not be present.

Developer and publisher Tecmo has passed in four new screenshots of Tecmo Bowl: Kickoff, its upcoming Nintendo DS reimagining of the classic NES Tecmo Bowl franchise.

Employing the familiar camera setup from the original games, Kickoff will include stylus control, customizable playbooks, wireless and Wi-Fi internet multiplayer, and classic Tecmo Bowl-style custscenes. Alas, the game does not include an NFL license, which precludes any hope of a nigh-invincible Bo Jackson.

In addition to new screenshots, Tecmo also released today the first gameplay footage of the upcoming Nintendo DS football revival Tecmo Bowl: Kickoff.

As previously announced, the game is set to include stylus control, customizable playbooks, classic Tecmo Bowl-style cutscenes, and multiplayer over wireless and Wi-Fi internet.

The Bo-less, NFL license-less Tecmo Bowl: Kickoff will hit the Nintendo DS sometime this fall.
