WorthPlaying has posted several Pandora Tomorrow screenshots, showing off the new Splinter Cell game which will be released early 2004.

Ubi Soft has just announced the new Splinter Cell game that was rumored for a while, Pandora Tomorrow. Due out in the first quarter of 2004, Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow will be released on multiple platforms and add multiplayer online missions.

The game will bring back more of the single-player intrigue that made the original game a bestseller. With exciting new action scenes and a strong cinematic feel, the player will experience new and even more realistic surroundings. Building on Ubi Soft's strong commitment to online gaming, Pandora Tomorrow will the be the first stealth game ever to feature multiplayer online missions allowing several players to simultaneously share Sam Fisher's shadowy world of espionage.

Some recent Ubi Soft financial results have interesting info on future projects, as both Ghost Recon 2 and a project called Splinter Cell: Shadow Strike are mentioned as being in development. News at E3? Thanks Blues.

It took a while, but the US version of the Splinter Cell 1.2 patch has finally been released. The new version fixes some 3D audio issues, adds a benchmark mode and adds support for some older graphics cards among other things. Thanks Blues News.

A week after the release of the U.S. patch, Ubi Soft has now released a Splinter Cell patch for the European version of the game. Again, AI and performance is improved among other things. Thanks 3D Gamers.

The guys at Gamer.nl have posted a Q&A with Mathieu Ferland, who was the senior producer of Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell. Mathieu is asked what Ubi Soft was shooting for when they started development of the game and how movies and other games influenced Splinter Cell, differences between developing for PC and for Xbox, the fact that the main character is American, the importance of stealth, downloadable content plans and more.

The promised Splinter Cell patch (also found on FileShack of course) has been released, updating the U.S. version of the game to 1.1. Some AI issues are fixed, performance is improved and the game should look even better.

This post on the Ubi Soft forums mentions upcoming patches for the PC version of Splinter Cell. There will be a patch to fix a few AI issues and make the game run a little smoother, and there will be a second patch adding anti aliasing support to the game. According to the Splinter Cell website, there will be an IRC chat with the development team tomorrow. The interview starts at 10AM CST in #splintercell on the DALNet network.

Ubi Soft has just released a second demo for the PC version Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell, the third person stealth game which is shipping to stores soon. The 178mb demo offers three missions from the game: Tbislisi 1, Tbilisi 3 and Kalinatek.

If downloading 178mb demos ain't your bag, there's also a new trailer available in low, medium and high res Quicktime format.

Ubi Soft let us know that the PC version of Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell will ship to stores in North America February 18. The game recently went gold but no date was mentioned in that announcement.

LoadedInc takes a look at the upcoming PC release of Splinter Cell, of which there is a demo that I coulda swore I was gonna play last weekend? I'm pretty sure that is Maarten's fault.

In a really brief email, Ubi Soft just let us know that the PC version of Splinter Cell has been delayed till mid February. Originally it was going to be released at the end of this month. The reason of delay is a problem with the copy protection (thanks BoltGames).

More Splinter Cell questions and answers to those questions today, as XGR will have Xavier Fouilleux on their audio show tonight. Xavier is brand manager over at Ubi Soft and will be chatting about the Splinter Cell property. The interview starts at 8:30PM CST.

The homeboys at GameSpot have a little Splinter Cell Q&A for you all to nibble on this afternoon. Producer Mathieu Ferland is asked the porting from Xbox to PC, the PC version's graphics, the control scheme, mod plans and a few other things.

As promised, Ubi Soft has released the Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell demo. In the demo of the third person stealth game, you get to play a mission inside a police station. It's a 100mb download and requires a GeForce 2 as bare minimum videocard.

Ubi Soft has released two more Splinter Cell movies, with ingame and behind the scenes footage. Check out the 'inactivity net' and making of video. The PC demo will be out in two days.

The Splinter Cell demo is coming! As was mentioned earlier it should hit some time next week, a few more details on the demo have been released, and amazingly enough it's not some hugely bloated 300+ meg demo! Here's a few more bits on what to expect as the news post yesterday linked this but it wasnt actually added until later:

- Approx 90megs demo
- Complete level from first mission
- Access to numerous items including the optic cable, night/thermal vision goggles and disposable lock picks

The retail game release will be in late January.
