Further SWAT 4 Delay

SWAT fansite 10-David is reporting about an additional delay for Vivendi's upcoming SWAT 4: Urban Justice. The game was originally supposed to be released during the second half of 2002 but was delayed until 2003. While we're only a few months into 2003, the game has now already been delayed into 2004. The 10-David news post offers some more information as well as speculation on why the game continues to be delayed.

According to SWAT fan site 10-David, SWAT: Urban Justice has been delayed. It was originally supposed to be released late this year, but the Sierra action title is now going to be released in 2003.

Also on HomeLAN Fed today is a preview of SWAT: Urban Justice, based on checking out the game at Sierra. The preview, which covers things like the realism, the backstory, missions, the characters and more, comes with quotes from art director Cyrus Kanga.

The guys at Tactical Games let us know that they have posted eight new screenshots from SWAT: Urban Justice. Sierra should be releasing this tactical shooter in a few months.

I see on Blues News that Sierra has released a high res and low res cutscene movie for SWAT : Urban Justice. You can grab a normal res Quicktime, normal res Windows Media, low res Quicktime or low res Windows Media version. The cutscene movie runs for about a minute.

Sierra is just press release happy today and sent along another one, announcing SWAT: Urban Justice. Though we knew this one was in development since Gamespot previewed it yesterday. The press release mentions a September release date, a 24-person multiplayer feature, 16 missions, and a few other things.
