Ubisoft's 'Ghost Recon 4' Coming by Early 2010; Splinter Cell: Conviction, Red Steel 2 by Christmas

Financial documents released by Ubisoft today confirmed that a fourth entry in the Ghost Recon series of squad-based shooters will soon be released by the publisher.


Splinter Cell: Conviction
No details on "Ghost Recon 4" were mentioned in the documents, though the game was scheduled to be released in Ubisoft's 2009-2010 fiscal period. This puts the title out by the end of March 2010 at the latest.

Meanwhile, the oft-delayed Splinter Cell: Conviction (PC, 360) was mentioned in a list of games coming "this Christmas," along with the western-themed, Wii MotionPlus-supporting Red Steel 2 (Wii).

Red Faction 2 Coming To PC

Though the original Red Faction came out on PC and PS2, the sequel has only been released on the PS2. That's going to change though as THQ has announced that Red Faction 2 is coming to GameCube, Xbox and also the PC. These ports will be out by March. As far as I remember, the first Red Faction wasn't very well received on the PC but who knows, maybe it makes one or two fans happy.
