Postal 2: Share the Pain Demo

Running With Scissors has released a Postal 2: Share the Pain demo, allowing you to try out this upcoming multiplayer expansion pack for the game. The 156mb download offers three maps, one playable in CTF mode and the other two in Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch or Grab mode.

Gamers Gallary has six new screenshots from the Postal 2 multiplayer edition Share the Pain. Developer Running With Scissors announced yesterday they will release the game themselves in December.

New on HomeLAN Fed today is this Postal 2 multiplayer Q&A. Running With Scissors CEO Vince Desi, lead game designer Steve Wik, lead level designer Bryan Dillow and AI/special effects programmer Nathan Fouts answer questions about sales numbers, the main goal for the multiplayer addon, the game modes, plans for new weapons, the release date, and future plans for the company.

Postal 2 has been out for a while now but that didn't prevent the guys at Gameguru Mania to post a new Q&A about the game. Vince Desi is asked about reactions to the game, things he was proud about in the game, Postal 3 plans, and multiplayer addon plans.

Postal 2 Patch

The guys at Running With Scissors have released a patch for Postal 2, updating the game to version 1337. The patch takes care of the atrocious load times, and also adds two new levels, a new weapon and several other new features.

The guys at Doupe.cz let us know they have posted a Postal 2 Q&A with Vince Desi of Running with Scissors about pretty much all aspects of the game. Meanwhile, Running With Scissors announced they have found a North American and European publisher. A company called Whiptail Interactive will be publishing the game once it's done.

Dutch Gay Guy vs Postal 2

I'm not really sure how to present this one, but it appears that in the Postal2 game one of the many types of people that you kill in your rage against the system are apparently homosexuals. A Dutch gay activist is upset about this and feels that it is discrimination against gays. (Thanks to like 8 people!)

"It is disgusting. In the Netherlands we have anti-discrimination laws to protect people from discrimination based on sexual preference and that makes it easier to do something," Krol said on Thursday.

As far as I can tell, Postal 2 has always been intended as an equal opportunity murder simulator.
