Some new NVidia Detonator drivers have popped up for download. Version 3.56 actually, no word on their performance but you can grab them here. Keep in mind these are not an official release, so if your stuff blows up... bummer.

New NVidia Card

NVidia has announced a new video GPU thinga-ma-jig. The Quadro. I would like to congratulate NVidia on two horrible video card names in a row. It is basically a GeForce card with a number of changes made to target the CAD workstation crowd. The guys at 3DGPU got a bit more word on what this thing is. Here's a snip from Derek Perez of NVidia:

When can we expect to see the Quadro available?
All I can say at this point is we should see them some time before Christmas.

update: Check these benchmarks on 3DGPU (Provided by NVidia though and only business app benchmarks).
