Shack: How different are the PC and Xbox versions of the game, does either platform come with additional content?
John Whitmore: You can do a lot more on the PC, especially with graphics and multiplayer -- so we have. For the past six months we have had a separate internal team devoted to making the PC game look and play on par with the PC competition, and we're really happy with the results. Every map has been retouched for PC, with additional assets, high-resolution textures, and a far more advanced lighting solution than on Xbox. We have added a lot of visual effects for the PC, including fully reflective and dynamic water -- not only the terrain and skybox are reflected, but so are the characters and vehicles, as well as weapon tracers, explosions, and everything else -- it really adds a lot to those levels where you are slogging through a rice paddy or fighting over a gully ...
