The first installment of Crackpot Entertainment's episodic PC action-adventure title Insecticide has been completed and is ready for its June 13 release, publisher Gamecock Media Group announced today.

The game is said to combine elements of mystery and action in a stylized, imaginative world over a span of two episodes. An expected release date for Part 2 has not yet been announced, though a reworked Nintendo DS version of the game saw release last March.

Part 1 of Insecticide will be available via digital distribution outlets Direct2Drive, paradox, and GameTap at a $14.99 price point.

The Gamecock Media Group hosted the second annual E.I.E.I.O. event in Austin, TX last week, showing various games they'll be publishing over the next few quarters. Publisher Gamecock has released another batch of screenshots for Crackpot Entertainment's newly released DS action-adventure title Insecticide.

The Nintendo DS version of the title shipped to stores today. A retooled, episodic version of the game is in development for the PC and will be released in the near future.

The Nintendo DS version of Crackpot Entertainment's action adventure game Insecticide has gone gold and will ship to stores March 11, publisher GameCock has announced. The game was previously scheduled for a February release.

A PC version of the game is expected as well, albeit in episodic form, with the first episode showing up online shortly after the release of the game on the DS.

Formerly scheduled for a pre-holiday release, Crackpot Entertainment's bug-themed detective title Insecticide (PC, DS) won't hit stores until next year. Publisher Gamecock announced the title's new release date today, scheduling the DS version for February 12, 2008.

The PC version will arrive as a downloadable episodic game, with the first episode coming "soon after" the DS version's release. Crackpot paired the announcement with new screens of both the DS and PC version of the game.

Cosmos Gaming has posted a Q&A with Michael Levine, president of Crackpot Entertainment. This company, staffed by many ex-Lucasarts employees, is currently working on the action/adventure game Insecticide for Gamecock.
