A PlayStation 3-exclusive, inFamous arrives May 26, packing access to the upcoming Uncharted 2: Among Thieves multiplayer beta. A demo of inFamous will be publicly available on May 21, with pre-ordering folk getting early access on May 7.

It looks like the "electrifying" Uncharted 2 and inFamous-related announcement Sony was planning for next Monday has been spoiled.

A picture of a Best Buy placeholder box obtained by Kotaku clearly states that copies of Sucker Punch's superpowered open world game inFamous (PS3), due May 26, will include a multiplayer beta voucher for Naughty Dog's fall-due Uncharted 2 (PS3).

The voucher is listed as valid from 6/3 through 6/28/09, likely dates for the beta.

While Sony has yet to officially confirm the existence of multiplayer in Uncharted 2, rumors of its inclusion popped up earlier this week on ScrewAttack.

The site specified that Uncharted 2 would pack cooperative multiplayer, a separate mode from the single-player campaign, along with a competitive multiplayer mode, adding that more details would be officially announced on, you guessed it, Monday.

The announcement that Sucker Punch's super-powered open world sucker-puncher has gone gold was made, like so many others in this 2.0 age, through Twitter.

Now producer Brian Flemming has revealed how Sucker Punch will be celebrating the end of over three years of development and 70,000+ checkins of code and assets:

The release of Sucker Punch's super-powered open-world game inFamous has been bumped up from a vague June timeframe to a concrete date of May 26.

Publisher Sony also announced that pre-ordering grants you early access to the inFamous demo on May 7. Those who would prefer to play the demo before ordering the full game will be able to download it through the PlayStation Network on May 21.

"Do I want them to love me, or fear me?" asks the complicated protagonist of inFamous in this extended bit of footage. Sure, he might kill a few people here and there, but it's okay--he did it all for love either way.

The open-world action game is set for an inclusive PlayStation 3 release in June.

Two new, not-quite-full-resolution screenshots of inFamous have been released by publisher Sony, providing us with a better look at the game's trash monster. There's actually a dude inside of it, which I guess makes it some some sort of trashy robot? Developed by Sly Cooper veterans Sucker Punch, the superpowered PlayStation 3 exclusive arrives in June, with a downloadable demo due some point before then.

After watching Watchmen, this trailer for inFamous (PS3) seems like it came from the same visionary director. Instead, it's a product of Sucker Punch Productions, the developers of the upcoming open-world action title.

inFamous is set to exclusively grace the PlayStation 3 later this year.

Sucker Punch's super-powered PlayStation 3 action game inFamous will arrive worldwide in June, producer Greg Phillips revealed on the PlayStation.Blog. Phillips added that a downloadable demo of the title will be "available shortly."

The game puts players in the role of bicycle messenger Cole McGrath as he unexpectedly receives electrical superpowers and must save his city from chaos. Of course, saving is a subjective thing, so players can act as a hero or a maniacal villain.

Also due out this June is Radical's Entertainment's Prototype (PC, PS3, 360), which is also an open-world action adventure that features a super-powered protagonist.

There's a lot going on in this trailer for inFamous, Sucker Punch's open world PlayStation 3-exclusive coming later this year.

A PlayStation 3 exclusive, the open-world action game is slated to arrive next year.

New screenshots from the PlayStation 3-exclusive open-world action game Infamous have been released, clearly showing the use of electrical powers in the game. In development at Sucker Punch Productions, Infamous will be released during the first half of 2009.
