SCE San Diego's downloadable PlayStation 3 bowling title, High Velocity Bowling, is in the final stages of certification and is hoped to arrive in the PlayStation Store next week.

Similar to Nintendo's Wii Sports bowling, High Velocity Bowling has players replicating the underhanded toss of a bowling ball via the PS3's motion-sensitive Sixaxis controller. The game offers up a variety of challenges and numerous characters for players to compete against.
