Razer has announced plans to release the Razer Barracuda AC-1 Gaming Audio Card and Razer Barracuda HP-1 Gaming Headphones, adding to the company's product lineup which currently consists of a mouse mat and several gaming mouses. According to the press release, the AC-1 soundcard "features a 7.1 channel output, 24 bit audio technology and unprecedented 117dB SNR (output)". Seagate Gets Perpendicular

Tech Report reports that Seagate has announced the Momentus 5400.3, a new 2.5" mobile hard drive based on perpendicular recording technology. The drive has 160gb in space, up from the 120gb that most mobile HDDs are limited to. By the end of the year Seagate expects all its new hard drives, desktop and mobile ones, to be based on perpendicular tech (insert obligatory Hitachi flash animation link).

Dell Coming Out With Quad GPU Gaming PC

GameSpot reports that for their next gaming PC, Dell is pulling out all the stops. The XPS 600 Renegade, due out some time this quarter, will feature four GeForce 7800 GPUs and an Intel Pentium Extreme Edition 955 CPU overclocked to 4.2Ghz. No specific price point was announced, though Dell did say it would be "a lot".
