- The Online Team met with Michael and Hardy to discuss multiplayer game types. It was a nice long meeting with a lot of good ideas thrown around. Hardy has more good ideas for multiplayer game types than any one man has a right to. We'll see how many of them we can make work. He's mocking up multiplayer levels right now and "it's really fun" says he. Michael has networking "up and limping" and is trying to fix the broken stuff.
- Reflection works now. I saw a hologram reflecting off a glass floor situated above The Shaft. Spiffy.

Voodoo Extreme has the following from a Microsoft PR personFirst off: it's a load of bollocks. There WILL be a Mac/PC Halo.
As to why EB pulled it off their site: maybe they figured out that taking preorders so far in advance would only increase the number of irate "Where the hell is it?" calls to their phone centers. I can't speak for them or the motives for their actions. But I can tell you it's not a result of anything we or Microsoft told them. Nameless "higher-ups," my arse.
It just ain't true, folks. Don't believe it.
There are still PC and Mac versions planned, but the work is being done on the Xbox version now. work will begin on the PC/Mac versions once the Xbox one is finished.
EBWorld will no longer be accepting pre-orders for the PC version of Halo, as they were informed by the "higher-ups" that Halo would be an Xbox exclusive title and to cease accepting pre-orders for the game. Considering EBWorld will take pre-orders for literally anything, this could be some pretty strong news that Microsoft plans to keep Halo off the PC... But - I just asked the official PR rep who handles Halo and he says as far as he knows the PC and Mac versions are still on, and will know more next week.
Q: Will all the Xbox, Mac and pc users be able to play together?
A: It's really hard to say at this point one way or another, but if I had to bet I'd say no. PC/Mac netplay is a more likely proposition, if you catch my drift.Q: Will the X-Box have a simultaneous release date on X-Box and the PC?
A: I already answered that, but for anyone who missed it: no. The Xbox version will ship before the Mac/PC versions. I don't know how much later they'll follow, but they're a separate development effort.
