InciteGames just sent word to Maarten of a huge 46meg video with footage of Halo from Bungie. It's pretty hefty so I tried to take  a few snapshots for the modem guys out there (and failed miserably), if someone wants to send me a few snaps I'll post them here and add to the Halo screenshot index. Here's the description:

If you can't get enough of Halo (and who can really), Gamers Central has a new preview.

There was a bit going around on GameSpot so called 'confirming' that Halo will be ported to the PSX2 console. According to the guys at Halo Central though this isnt entirely true. They have a quote from Matt Soell of Bungie on the issue.

If Soldier of Fortune for some reason isnt your thing, check out this new Halo preview (in German) sent along by halo.bungie.org. The preview has a single new screenshot which is in pretty high resolution on the front page. Here's a translation of the article. and the rest of the screenshots locally which is slightly faster than Germany.

The Halo footage that was mentioned earlier this morning from bTV has been hacked out of the huge video and cut down to a workable 6megs. Check it out at halo.bungie.org

If you just can't get enough of Halo (and who can?), Bungie's bTV has the archive of day 4 online, in a 41 or 269mb quicktime movie. If you're not interested in seeing all the misc stuff though, halo.bungie.org has a 6mb movie with just Halo footage.

The Oxygen Tank seems to have the Halo background story, which they got from info from MacWorld.

Well, I was in the middle of downloading the Day3 footage from Bungie which is a hefty 200megs and was gonna hack up the Halo footage but it looks like the guys over at halo.bungie.org have already done it. Check out the 15megs worth of footage which might sooth your appetite for a bit. The quality isnt up to par with the official video that came out or those nifty screenshots but it's something... also, Mikey sends this link of a 4meg version.

oh btw, I'm hax0ring around with a table of contents popup idea. I gotta mess with the targets and format a bit, but I've always found the thing useful over at FiringSquad so thought you guys might like something like it. Give this thing a shot:

Bungie.org has an interview with the PR monkey for Bungie games talking about Halo and Oni, as well as a few general Bungie questions. It looks like they plan on using the master server approach for net play in Halo, now if they would just release some more damn screenshots! You guys remember that Halo video footage that came out? That thing is still some of the most amazing in-game footage I've ever seen.

Bungie was showing off that oh so incredible Halo game once again. GameSpot slapped up 3 new images of the game which are looking smooth as always. Here are all the rest of the images. I would like this game now, thanks. Oh, and ditch that 3rd person stuff.

Gamelinks has a new Halo preview, the game that makes you wanna spooge over and over again. Now let's just wait if the gameplay will be any good!

Playstation 2 Central has a Halo preview (yeah it'll be on the PSX2 too). This game is just so damn purty.

People just can't get enough of Bungie's incredible looking game Halo, as Gamespot has a new preview as part of their "games that will change gaming" feature.

Voodoo Extreme has an email up that one of their readers got from Bungie's Allan Turner on why Halo is a 3rd person game:

Because for the level of environmental control and interaction you'll need int he game. It is nothing like Tomb Raider so please don't judge camera controls you've never experienced or used until you use them. The things you can do with the camera and the POVs that can be obtained are what makes this gmae what it is. If you want and like Quake 3 then I'm happy for you but that's not our game. Our game is Halo and it has a camera control that you have to expereince before you love or hate it.
