Another Half-Life 2: Episode Two Delay

According to this story on Computer & Video Games, Half-Life 2: Episode Two has suffered another delay. Most recently it was scheduled for a first quarter of 2007 release following an original late 2006 date, but now the game is due in the summer of 2007. The delay also effects Portal and Team Fortress 2.

As expected, Valve sends along an extended version of the Half-Life 2: Episode Two teaser trailer. The 1:20 clip shows new and familiar footage.
Armed with new weaponry and vehicles, Dr. Gordon Freeman must race through a countryside riddled with an increasingly feirce Combine threat. Episode Two is coming to PC, PS3, and 360, and will also include Portal and Team Fortress 2.

Half-Life 2: Episode Two Missing Holiday Release?

Yesterday, EA announced its 2006 holiday lineup, and Valve's Half-Life 2: Episode Two is conspicuously absent, leading some to believe the game may be missing its 2006 release deadline. Valve did not comment on the situation when contacted by Shacknews, but did state that details about the game will be revealed during an EA event today.
