Wanako Games' Arkadian Warriors and Sidhe Interactive's GripShift will be released on Xbox Live Arcade this Wednesday, December 12. Both titles will sell for 800 Microsoft Points ($10).

Previously released on PSP and PlayStation 3, GripShift mixes elements of platforming, racing, and puzzle-solving. The downloadable Xbox 360 version adds a new deathmatch mode and several graphical tweaks while retaining support for four-player online duels.

Arkadian Warriors, meanwhile, is a top-down action-RPG with randomly generated dungeons. It supports two player co-op both locally and over Xbox Live.

GripShift (X360) Hands-On Preview

Dec 06, 2007 4:05pm CST tags: GripShift
Sidhe Interactive's GripShift is coming to Xbox Live very soon. If you haven't played it on PSP or PS3 already, you missed out on an incredible game. But you're also in luck: with an entirely new FPS-like deathmatch mode among other enhancements, the 360 version will be the best GripShift iteration yet. If you like TrackMania, Monkey Ball, video games, or having fun, read on to get the full details.
What gives the game an undeniable attraction is GripShift's abstract approach to physics and its gleeful neglect of standard racing paradigms. Given the puzzle-like nature of the game, it would be impossible to navigate the title's tricky tracks if your vehicle had authentic car physics.

GripShift Heads to XBLA This Year

GripShift, the kart racing-slash-platforming title from independent New Zealand-based developer Sidhe Interactive, will soon appear as one of the Xbox 360's downloadable Xbox Live Arcade titles.

The game was originally released on PSP in 2005, with a PlayStation 3 version arriving via the online PlayStation Store earlier this year. The Xbox Live Arcade edition, which features new single-player courses and a new deathmatch multiplayer mode, is said to arrive within the year.

Sidhe is billing the Xbox 360 edition as the "definitive version" of the game. No pricing information was announced, though the PlayStation 3 iteration debuted at $9.99.
