Madden NFL 10, G-Force Demos Now on Xbox Live

Jul 23, 2009 5:30pm CST tags: Madden NFL 10, G-Force, Xbox Live Marketplace
New to the Xbox Live Marketplace today is a downloadable demo for EA Tiburon's annual football effort Madden NFL 10, with the demo for Eurocom's gerbil-centric movie tie-in G-Force just about to become available to all Xbox Live folk, not just Gold members.

Both demos are only available to Gold accounts, a restriction that usually passes within a week. The G-Force demo, which hit on July 17, should open up to everyone tomorrow, July 24. Meanwhile, Silver members and PS3 owners will have to wait until July 30 for the Madden demo, which samples a Giants vs. Cowboys game in 1-minute quarters.

The full version of Madden NFL 10 arrives at retailers on August 14, with G-Force having shipped off to stores this week to coincide with the release of the feature film.

Disney has announced that the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions of G-Force and the Wii's Toy Story Mania! will feature stereoscopic 3D through anaglyphic glasses.

The publisher claims the pair will be "the first games for next-generation systems to fully feature three-dimensional stereoscopic technology," which "adds to the already fun video game... and extends the gameplay by creating entirely new options for players."

Ubisoft's video game adaptation of James Cameron's stereoscopic film Avatar will also feature the technology that Cameron believes will be "the next big thing."

G-Force arrives July 21 with PC, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii and PS2 versions developed by Eurocom, and DS and PSP releases by Keen. Based on the Disneyland attraction of the same name, Toy Story Mania! arrives exclusively on Wii in the fall.
