Fox Interactive Entering 21st Century?

Nov 09, 2007 2:41pm CST tags: Simpsons, Fox Interactive, Monolith
Rupert Murdoch wants desperately to be hip with the kids, and to increase profits for his News Corporation conglomerate in the process.

MCV is reporting that News Corp. subsidiary 20th Century Fox is looking to get back into the video game industry by relaunching its long-defunct Fox Interactive publishing division.

Formed in 1996, Fox Interactive typically published games based on Fox properties such as Die Hard Trilogy, Aliens Versus Predator, and The Simpsons: Hit & Run. Fox also dabbled in a few original titles, including Monolith's No One Lives Forever series, as well as Argonaut Software's Croc: Legend of the Gobbos. The label has been dormant since 2003.

The move is seen as part of a two-pronged approach to the lucrative gaming industry, with News Corporation's MySpace web portal having recently signed Oberon Media to provide titles for its MySpace Games service.

In the realm of video game journalism, News Corp. purchased IGN/GameSpy in 2005, which has since become a division of Fox Interactive Media--not to be confused with Fox Interactive, or Fox International, or Fox Intergalactic Domination.

Fox Snags IGN & Co.

Sep 08, 2005 11:16am CST tags: Fox Interactive, Industry News: PC & Console
Rupert Murdoch's News Corp., parent company of the Fox media empire, today announced its acquisition of gaming network IGN. The move comes as little surprise, since Murdoch has been expressing his desire to fully enter online media, and IGN was named as a likely entry point. IGN will be assimilated into the company's Fox Interactive Media division.

IGN operates numerous entertainment-related sites, including IGN FilmForce, GameSpy (after a late 2003 merger), the Rotten Tomatoes film ratings aggregate site, FilePlanet, many of the "Planet" and "Vault" gaming sites, TeamXBox, Direct2Drive.com, GameStats, and AskMen.com. In addition to owning the GameSpy website, News Corp. will of course also own GameSpy's multiplayer gaming technology.

Mark Jung, IGN Entertainment's Chief Executive Officer, commented: "We believe that Fox Interactive Media is an ideal fit with IGN Entertainment. With this combination, our users will enjoy access to a broad array of content and services covering video games, music, movies, sports and news, and our advertisers will benefit from enormous reach into a highly sought-after demographic. We are thrilled with this acquisition and can't wait to get started."

News Corp. Chairman and CEO Rupert Murdoch also commented on the deal, noting that along with the acquisition of such sites as MySpace.com and Scout Media as well as existing online presences FOXNews.com and FOXSports.com, IGN's properties are ideal to help News Corp. leverage its position on the web into a "leading internet destination."

News Corp. paid $650M for the IGN network. By comparison, the acquisition of MySpace.com went for $580M.

Late Night Consoling

Dec 05, 2003 10:00pm CST tags: Namco, Simpsons, Electronic Arts, Vivendi, LucasArts, Fox Interactive, Rockstar, Tecmo, Sega, Ubisoft, Games: Console, Sony
One of the things I've noticed, especially since I haven't actually bought any games in a while now, is that my Xbox collection has seriously ballooned. This is of course because of review copies, but what's interesting is that many of these titles are cross-platform games. When I'm asked about which platform I prefer, I always ask for whichever version best showcases the game in question, and nine times out of ten that means I wind up with the Xbox version. Which I guess isn't too surprising, but considering that one of the original criticisms of the Xbox is that its library was comprised largely of ports from other platforms, it's worth pointing out that the increasing amount of cross-platform development has actually been in Microsoft's favor. I'll admit to being as guilty of this as the next guy, as more often than not, I go with the Xbox version of a cross-platform title. It just seems like if you want the best framerate and audio, chances are the version that you want is going to be the Xbox. Of course, there are other factors (like extras and online components), and EA games are still for the most part the best on PS2. But just glancing at my holiday wish list, I put the Xbox versions of Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time and Legacy of Kain: Defiance on there, and after reading some criticisms of the PS2 version of Midway Arcade Classics, I switched that one to Xbox as well, despite the fact that I prefer the PS2's controller for classic games. I imagine I'm not the only one around here that's done this, and I don't even own an HDTV (I do however own an awesome surround sound system).

Sega Sues Over Simpsons Game
Sega of America filed a lawsuit yesterday against Fox Interactive, Electronic Arts and Radical Entertainment, on the grounds that The Simpsons: Road Rage is a carbon-copy of Crazy Taxi. Although most of these lawsuits are groundless, I really do know several people who said that Road Rage is so much like Crazy Taxi that until I told them otherwise, they assumed it was licensed from Sega. Fortunately Rockstar has nothing to worry about with Hit & Run, as that game only took the worst parts from Grand Theft Auto. Thanks Slashdot Games for the tip.

Dreamcast
VF: Cyber Generation on Four Console Systems
Some new details from Virtua Fighter: Cyber Generation can be found at Polygon Magazine, which were taken from a recent Japanese language interview with Makoto Osaki of Sega-AM2. Osaki talks about why they're targeting a younger audience with the game, and also confirms that it will be released for four platforms: GameCube and PS2, as previously reported, but also Xbox and incredibly, Dreamcast. Thanks roushimsx for the tip.
Fight Club: The Game?
From the "what the heck are they thinking" department comes word from the Official US PlayStation Magazine that Vivendi Universal is working on a 3D fighting game based on Fight Club. No word on whether or not there's a multiplayer mode where you pummel on yourself until you win.
Four Swords Details
1UP is reporting that The Legend of Zelda: The Four Swords will contain much more than just the multiplayer experience shown at E3 in May. Aside from that game, there are two single player modes (a survival-type game and a single player story-driven adventure) and Tetra's Trackers, which was another simplistic title shown by Nintendo at E3.
Fable Chat Log
An edited chat log from the Fable developer chat the other night is now available (thanks Carnivac). There are a pretty wide range of topics covered, including how much your character ages in the game (from 12 to "55ish"), their use of day/night cycles and weather effects, and even polygamy, which is actually possible in the game (if you're clever).
R-Type Final Coming to America
Great news for shmup fans...Eidos Interactive has announced that they will be bringing R-Type Final to North America via their Fresh Games label. A specific release date isn't available yet, but their press release says to expect it "this winter."
Xbox Brings Troops, Families Together
A follow-up on the story from earlier this year about the Army's use of Xbox Live for recreation, this Reuters article reports that thanks to Xbox Live's voice chat features, soldiers can now chat with friends and family. This is a pretty big expansion on the original rollout, as it's now being featured at USO centers around the world, whereas previously it was only being used by the Air Force in Europe. Naturally games will also be playable, including Shack-favorite Project Gotham Racing 2. Thanks Slashdot Games for the tip.
Tomonobu Itagaki Interview
Team Xbox has conducted a new interview with Tomonobu Itagaki, the head of Tecmo's Team Ninja, and the outspoken creator of Ninja Gaiden and Dead or Alive. Itagaki-san is a little calmer than usual in this interview, but he still manages to comment on all of his major products in development, while dodging some important questions. He also mentions briefly the Xbox Live features of Ninja Gaiden, but you can find the same information a bit more coherentlyhere at SpyGN.
Rainbow Six 3 Stats Live
Ubisoft has launched their live stats for Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six 3. The simple web page shows the top players, and you can search for yourself if you're not in the top 100.
GameBoy Advance Bandai Drops Hardware
This has been a long time coming, but nonetheless, Bandai announced yesterday that they are officially exiting the hardware business. While the Wonderswan never made it out of Japan (although it came really close), it was a moderate success over there, thanks largely to the support of SquareSoft, who released the first three Final Fantasy games for the platform (among other games).
Sony PSX Incompatibility List
As the system's going to be released in Japan next week, Sony has released a list of accessories that are incompatible with their PSX ubersystem. These include the obvious (PS2 BB unit and HDD, which are superfluous anyway) as well as the questionable, like the lack of support for the PS2 multitap and PocketStation. For more PSX fun, Sony Japan has posted a bunch of commercials.
Nintendo Sony
Seamus Blackley Interview
The first half of a two-part interview with Seamus Blackley is up at GameSpot this evening. Blackley was one of the creators of the Xbox, but after his post-Microsoft project went under he relocated to Hollywood talent firm Creative Artists Agency, where he's their in-house games rep, and he talks about his new digs.
GameBoy Advance Pokemon Buggy
Nintendo of Japan has announced that there are bugs in Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire. Apparently the bugs, which affect the growth and harvest of certain berries and lottery tickets, show up after the game has been in use for a full year. As the games haven't been out that long in this country, it's unknown if the same problem will surface in the localized versions of the games.
New SWON Content Available
LucasArts, who has already put out more extra content than most companies, has released a second round of downloadable content for Secret Weapons Over Normandy. This time around you can grab a new plane and new single player mission.

R: Racing Evolution Interview
The first part of Computer and Video Games' R: Racing Evolution interview is online tonight. The interview is with several members of the development team at Namco, and they explain how this game differs from Ridge Racer.
Dreamcast
Neo Geo
Samurai Shodown Zero, Others Confirmed
SNK has confirmed that a PS2 port of Samurai Shodown Zero is in the works. No date has been announced yet, but they did announce that King of Fighters 2003 and Metal Slug 5 will be released for the NeoGeo home system on March 11th and February 19th respectively, and KoF 2001 will be released for the Dreamcast on January 22nd. Note that these are all Japanese release dates.

Late Night E3 Impressions

May 22, 2003 10:45pm CST tags: Fox Interactive, Games: PC, E3
Good lord, this is the eighth installment of my E3 impressions! Tonight's piece has impressions of Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time, Super Mario Advance 4, XIII, Thief III, Deus Ex 2, Trinity and Buffy: Chaos Bleeds. Here's an excerpt:

Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Chaos Bleeds (GC, PS2 Xbox): When I played the first Buffy the Vampire Slayer game, which was released for Xbox last year, I was a little disappointed by it. So, it seems, were the people at Fox Interactive, because this game seems to address a lot of the problems that had. The game's storyline comes courtesy of two people who wrote a handful of Buffy comic books (there's actually a comic adaptation coming out around the same time as this game), and it features The First, who were just the focal point of Buffy's last season. This was written before season seven got under way, but apparently it doesn't contradict anything that happens this year, and in fact is said to complement it well. It takes place during Season 5, meaning we get the harmless Spike this time. While you were only able to play as Buffy last time, in this game you'll get to play as Buffy, but also Willow, Xander, Spike and incredibly, even Sid the Dummy, who was featured in a single episode in the show's first season and hasn't been heard from since (the writers were apparently thrilled when they found a way to work him into the story)...

E3 Survey Part 2

May 02, 2003 9:41am CST tags: CliffyB, Fox Interactive, Gearbox, Games: PC, E3
HomeLAN Fed posted a new E3 2003 survey, asking more developers about what they plan to show off at the upcoming Electronic Entertainment Expo and what they look forward to. There's answers from Epic's CliffyB, Fox Interactive's Greg Goodrich, and Gearbox Software's Sean Reardon among others.

So here's the $49.00 question...being the console RPG fan that I am, which do I buy: .hack part 1 or Xenosaga? I'm absolutely torn here. Initially there was no doubt in my mind that I was going to get Xenosaga on day one, but those stories of obscenely long cut-scenes have me worried. Not that there's anything wrong with that, but since there happens to be another top-tier console RPG out at the same time, I'm wondering if I should get that instead. Reviews of .hack have been generally positive, if not overwhelmingly so, but I'm expecting the same thing from Xenosaga, given the patience it requires from players. So what are you guys getting? Either? Neither? Zelda? Dark Cloud 2?

PS2 New FFX-2 Stuff
Some new scans from a Japanese magazine are up at The Magic Box, and show off two new characters and three new classes (including Rikku as a Black Mage). Most exciting however is this new trailer that's up at GameForms (mirrored here at FileShack along with the first one) and shows off lots and lots of gameplay and pre-rendered footage along with singing and dancing.
PS2 Xbox New AvP Announced
Fox Interactive and Electronic Arts announced today Aliens vs. Predator: Extinction, a new console-only title for PS2 and Xbox. Unlike every previous AvP, this game is not a first person shooter, but is instead a tactical strategy game. The first screenshots from the game are up at AvPNews.com.
Xbox New MechAssault Content Tomorrow
At long last, Microsoft has revealed when the first downloadable content for MechAssault will be released...tomorrow! Xbox Live users can log on tomorrow to score two new multiplayer maps and two new, faster mechs. Now if only they'd update that Xbox Live interface...
Xbox New Splinter Cell Content Next Month
Speaking of downloadable extras, Ubi Soft has announced that the first extra Splinter Cell mission for Xbox Live subscribers will be posted next month. Details and a pair of screenshots can be found at GameSpot.
GameBoy Advance GBA SP Stuff
Those crazy cats at Lik-Sang have posted lots of pictures of the Game Boy Advance SP, including shots showing how they took the whole thing apart (the battery looks like it's not that difficult to replace). Also at Lik-Sang is some info on compatible GBA peripherals and Planet GameCube has posted their impressions of the hardware.
GameCube PS2
GameBoy Advance
SquareEA, EASquare No More
This was to be expected, I suppose...SquareSoft announced today that they will not be renewing their partnership with Electronic Arts when it expires at the end of next month. Instead, the new SquareEnix will open an American office to coordinate publishing in this country. SquareEA was created to promote SquareSoft games in America, while EASquare was created to promote EA's games in Japan.
GameCube PS2 Sphinx Revealed
THQ has announced Sphinx, an upcoming adventure game for PS2 and GameCube. The first details and screenshots are up at GameSpot tonight. Eurocom is best known around here for their work on the recently released 007: NightFire.
Xbox Tao Feng Backstory
Xbox.IGN has posted the first part of "Behind the Fists", a sort of backstory for the upcoming Xbox fighting game Tao Feng.
Xbox Somehow, I don't think this will work
According to News.com, the Xbox Linux group has sent a letter to Microsoft, requesting the company give them a digital signature to allow Linux to run on an unmodified Xbox. Apparently they haven't been able to find a workaround for that yet, despite a large reward. I'm impressed that Microsoft succeeded in creating lockouts that secure. I tip my hat to you.
GameCube PS2
GameBoy Advance
Misc. Screenshots
Some new shots from Tenchu: Wrath of Heaven are up at Games Are Fun, while IGN has posted some new movies showing off the GameCube port of Red Faction II.

Console Game of the Evening: Aliens: Thanatos Encounter for the Game Boy Color. This game had tons of promise, and the early screenshots looked great...but ultimately it was a dud. Enjoy it though, since AvPNews has confirmed that the planned GBA Aliens vs. Predator has been canceled.

Late Night Consoling

Judging from the comments, I guess everyone really liked last night's special LNC EX. Which is good, because I had a blast writing it, and will probably do more articles along those same lines in the future. Since I get asked about it so often, I think my next EX will explain in complete detail how I connect all of my many, many console systems. It's a complex mass of wires but it works great, so I'm happy to share that knowledge. After that I'll probably dip back into console history again...if there's anything in particular you want to see, post it in the comments and I'll make a note of it (and yes, another "dismal failures" piece is a definite possibility).

Xbox Xbox Live Phantasy Star Online Details
Sega and Microsoft have finally announced pricing information for the Xbox Live version of Phantasy Star Online Episode I & II. The game will be released in March, and comes with 60 days of free gameplay, after which you will have to pay $8.95 a month on top of the Xbox Live subscription, which is required to play the game both on and offline. 60 days is actually a pretty long period of time though, so that's nice.

Xbox

MechAssault Updates Delayed
Since January's about to be over (and may already be by the time you read this) obviously those Xbox Live MechAssault updates aren't going to make it. After weeks of speculation, Microsoft released a statement to this effect today, assuring fans that the updates are coming, but they have no specific time frame set.
PSOne Final Fantasy Origins Impressions
GameSpot has posted a brief news item featuring their initial impressions of Final Fantasy Origins, the name that SquareSoft will be releasing the PSOne ports of Final Fantasy I & II. Included with the impressions are new in-game screenshots.
PS2 Xbox

The X-Files: Code Veronica?
Vivendi Universal and Fox Interactive have announced The X-Files: Resist or Serve, a new survival horror title for PS2 and Xbox. The game features the voices of the original cast from the show, and the description and screenshots that have been released make it sound like a Resident Evil or Silent Hill clone. Which isn't necessarily a bad thing, of course...it might be great, and

PS2 Primal Q&A
GameSpot has conducted a Q&A with Chris Sorrell of Sony's Studio Cambridge, talking with the creative director about their upcoming action game Primal.
PS2 Xbox GameSpot Previews
Also at GameSpot tonight are new previews of Project Gotham Racing 2 for Xbox, and Dynasty Warriors 4 for PS2.
PS2 Final Fantasy XI: Vision of Ziraat Announced
SquareSoft Japan has announced Final Fantasy XI: Vision of Zaraat, an add-on for both the PC and PS2 versions of Final Fantasy XI. Sadly, there's still no word on a US release of this game, as it's directly tied to the PS2 HDD, which Sony has yet to announce over here (hopefully we'll know something by E3).
GameCube EA Forecasts GameCube Sales Slowdown
As part of their earnings conference call the other day, Electronic Arts mentioned that while they expect to see growth of 25 - 30% for PS2 and 20 - 25% for Xbox, they dropped their projections for GameCube sales down to 15 - 20%. While that may not sound like much, with a company like EA that's actually a big deal. So much so, that it brought down the price of Nintendo's stock yesterday.
GameCube GameBoy Advance Rayman 3 GBA Connectivity Details
Some details on the GameCube/GBA connectivity are up at GameSpot tonight. As with a handful of other recent games, it unlocks extra content, but what's definitely interesting is the unique co-op multiplayer mode that's only available when connecting the two devices.
GameCube PS2
Xbox GameBoy Advance
Misc. Media
Lots of good stuff tonight...Cube.IGN has some high-res screenshots from F-Zero AC (well, high-res compared to the thumbnails we got before, that is), as well as new shots from Nintendo's Giftpia. Over at Pocket.IGN they have shots from Crawfish's upcoming Superman GBA game (please, please don't suck like every other Superman game!) and shots and box art from the North American version of Golden Sun: The Lost Age, while Xbox.IGN has a first look at Moto GP 2. GameSpot has a trailer from 007: NightFire for GBA, shots from Evil Dead: Fistful of Boomstick for Xbox , a look at the new characters from Alter Echo (PS2, Xbox) and shots from Sonic Advance 2, which is coming stateside this summer along with Sonic Adventure DX. And finally, LucasArts has launched their official RTX Red Rock site (thanks Planet GameCube), which has the usual new media that accompanies this sort of thing.

Console Game of the Evening: Keith Courage in Alpha Zones for the Turbo Grafx-16. This game looked cool, but the actual gameplay was kinda lame.

Late Night Consoling

Jul 16, 2002 10:30pm CST tags: Simpsons, Fox Interactive, Sega, Games: Console, Sony
Okay, see if you can get your head around this one...according to an article on Red Herring, Microsoft had planned to buy a controlling interest in Sega, which in turn would use that money to acquire SquareSoft. It sounds ludicrous, but the 'Herring's not one to run outright rumors, and this article is written by the author of the recently released Xbox expose book, Opening the Xbox. The article also says that back in 1999, Microsoft tried to buy Square themselves, although the publisher wanted $2.5 billion for a mere 40% of the company, which exceeded their entire market capitalization at the time (makes you wonder how Sony got away with only spending $125 million on their 19% stake, don't it?). It's no secret that Microsoft tried to buy Sega way back when, but this was recent. Very recent, which came as a big surprise to me. If this was happening in the past few months, who knows what else MS is considering?

GameCube Did Nintendo even attempt to block this stuff?
Well that didn't take long...according to import shop NCS, a UK company will be releasing a boot disc that removes the need for a GameCube mod chip. You gotta wonder why Nintendo even bothered saying the thing was region-locked. This came out even faster than the one for the Dreamcast.
PS2 Xbox Lord of the Rings Previews
GameSpot continues their Tolkien week tonight with separate looks at the PS2 and Xbox games based on The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring.
GameBoy Advance Buffy on GBA
THQ and Fox Interactive announced today that they have reached an agreement to bring Buffy the Vampire Slayer and The Simpsons Road Rage to the Game Boy Advance.
PS2 Xbox MGS Interview
An interview with Hideo Kojima of Metal Gear Solid fame is up at XenGamers tonight. Hideo explains all the extra stuff that will be included with Metal Gear Solid 2: Substance, and he also comments on MGS2: Document, the upcoming DVD of bonus extras (that has not been announced for an American release).
GameCube PS2
Xbox GameBoy Advance
Yuji Naka Q&A
Also at XenGamers is a Q&A with Sega's Yuji Naka. He comments on a number of things, and says " I think we're going to stop the Sonic Adventure series at 2 for the time being" and also seems to be warming up to the idea of a new NiGHTS title.
PS2 Mark of Kri Preview
Parts one and two of PS2.IGN's massive Mark of Kri preview are online tonight. This originally ran in IGN's subscriber-only publication Unplugged, and goes into great detail about the game.
GameCube GameBoy Advance StarFox Date Bumped
Just when you thought you finally knew the release date for StarFox Adventures, Nintendo goes and bumps it again. But that's a good thing in this case, as it's been moved up a week to September 23rd. Also announced were dates for Mario Party 4 (Oct. 21), Super Mario Advance 3 (Sept. 23) and Game & Watch Gallery 4 (Oct. 28).
GameCube PS2
Xbox GameBoy Advance
Dreamcast
Sega's New Venture
Sega has announced a new project: they will be opening an Internet lounge called Net-Bit in the Hokkadio airport in Japan. The lounge will have Internet-ready PCs, and "the latest in music and games." Nutty.

Console Game of the Evening: Resident Evil: Code Veronica for the Dreamcast/PS2. As the only real 3D Resident Evil game to date, this one had a lot of potential as far as camera movements...unfortunately outside of a couple of exceptions, it didn't take advantage of that, and instead is a solid entry in the series, much like the rest.

Bit Of NOLF2 News

Feb 27, 2002 11:31am CST tags: Vivendi, Fox Interactive, No One Lives Forever, Monolith
It seems the hype machine for No One Lives Forever 2 is finally starting. An upcoming issue of Computer Gaming World will have a five page preview of the game, and here's what Kristin from NOLF Girl sent to us.

On February 22, an inaccurate message was posted on the NOLFNews.com website regarding the sequel to The Operative: No One Lives Forever by a new intern at Fox Interactive. The message referenced outdated information and incorrectly stated that the game would feature Deathmatch, Team and Cooperative modes.

Fox Interactive would like to set the record straight. The Monolith Productions team is hard at work creating the most enjoyable game possible. New features will include mission-based Cooperative multiplayer mode, new weapons and gadgets, improved AI, great mission variety and a vast array of exciting new features. Fox Interactive wishes to apologize to the NOLF community for the misinformation. Please visit www.sierra.com for regular updates on this title in the upcoming months.

I believe Vivendi/Sierra will start hyping the game online pretty soon as well. The first No One Lives Forever was one of the best games of 2000 (imho), let's hope the sequel will be just as good.

Nakatomi Plaza Interview

Dec 11, 2001 5:21am CST tags: Fox Interactive, Games: PC, Interview
HomeLAN Fed's newest interview is with Bryan Ekman, lead designer of Die Hard: Nakatomi Plaza. This FPS, based on the 1988 Bruce Willis movie, is nearing completion at Piranha Games. JCal asks Ekman about the roots of the game, which started as a Half-Life mod before being turned into a full blown game by Fox Interactive, how they managed to lengthen the game beyond the 2 hours of the movie, gameplay features, the weapons you'll be using, if having the game take place in the Nakatomi Plaza building was limited in any way, why they are using the LithTech engine, enemies you'll encounter in the game, why there won't be multiplayer support (that = poo poo), if a demo will be released and what the game's current status is. Three new screenshots of the game are included as well.

HomeLAN - Do you feel that the setting of the game (the Nakatomi Plaza building) limits what kinds of things you can put into the level design of the game?

Bryan Ekman - We’re very limited in scope and content, so we focused our attention on making the worlds detailed and the characters as interactive as possible. In one scene (in the forthcoming demo), a terrorist ambushes the player slips rolls, lands and falls of the roof. We’ve put in a lot of custom animations to help make the world feel alive.

CPL Approves AVP2 Demo

Oct 26, 2001 4:39pm CST tags: CPL, Fox Interactive, Professional Gaming, Monolith, Demo
In a strange turn of events, CPL has announced in association with Monolith and Fox Interactive, Aliens vs Predator2 has become a CPL "approved" game and will be featured in an upcoming tournament giving away a custom car. This was suspected earlier given a concept image that surfaced at HardOCP a little while back but now it's official.

SierraT, Fox InteractiveT and the Cyberathlete Professional League® (CPL) are excited to announce that Aliens vs. PredatorT 2 has been approved as an "Official Tournament Game of the CPL". To kick off this partnership, the Aliens vs. Predator 2 tournament, also sponsored by PNY Technologies®, will be included in a 30-city tournament at CPL qualifying centers, a worldwide online tournament with the Cyberathlete Amateur LeagueT and the upcoming CPL World Championship Event. The Aliens vs. Predator 2 finals tournament will have gamers from across the nation competing for the grand prize of a high-end customized 2002 Ford Focus ZX3 courtesy of the American Products Company located in Corona, CA.

Aliens vs Predator 2 GONE GOLD

Oct 18, 2001 3:07pm CST tags: Fox Interactive, Aliens vs. Predator, Gone Gold, Monolith
