To commemorate the availability of Fort Zombie (PC) on "all major digital distribution channels," developer Kerberos has issued a new trailer for the undead action-RPG.

The video provides a glimpse of everything the $9.99 title offers, from shooting zombies and scavenging around the randomly-generated town for supplies to fortifying your base and ensuring that other survivors have proper identification before joining the party.

A new Fort Zombie trailer paints a far more favourable picture of the PC post-zombie apocalypse action RPG by Sword of the Stars developer Kerberos Productions than the last, with footage of fortifying and defending a base, scavenging for supplies, rescuing fellow survivors and, of course, laying waste to the undead hordes of Piety, Indiana.

Zombie-slaying PC action RPG Fort Zombie will hit "all major digital distribution channels" in time for Halloween on October 30 for $10, developer Kerberos Studios (Sword of the Stars) has announced, releasing a new gameplay trailer in celebration.

Beneath the Audioslave and gibbing lies character progression with skills, stats and all. Survivors out in the city can cover for your inadequacies and help scavenge, though hordes of zombies naturally stand between you in your fortified base and what you need.

Fort Zombie might not win any beauty contests but it might be right up your alley if you're eager to put your zombie survival plan to the test--which you have surely, as a member of the Internet, already formulated. With the undead hordes of Piety, Indiana, out for your delicious brains, you'll fortify a home base, search for suvivors and scavenge supplies.

Sword of the Stars developer Kerberos Productions today announced a game certain to make the vast swathes of the Internet break down and weep tears of joy--Fort Zombie.

Set in the randomised fictional town of Piety, Indiana, during the zombie apocalypse, Fort Zombie will see players fortifying a school, prison or police station and scavenging for food, fuel and ammunition by day, defending against the undead hordes at night.

Rescuing NPC survivor families from the town's assorted stores, restaurants, gas stations and homes will bring new skills to your fort, though certain special zombies will remember skills of their own from their former existence to use against you.

Published by Paradox, Fort Zombie is slated to arrive on PC this fall at a mere $14.99.
