F.E.A.R. 2 'Reborn' Screenshots and Trailer Get Moody

Jul 30, 2009 4:29pm CST tags: F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin, Screenshots, Trailer, DLC
Dank screenshots and a dingy trailer give the first look at F.E.A.R. 2's upcoming 'Reborn' downloadable content, due to arrive September 3 on PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

A free title update will accompany 'Reborn' to add a slow-mo deathmatch mode, where a power-up slows the bearer's enemies and no doubt makes everything look all fancy.

The PC will receive 'Reborn' at a later date. Both previous F.E.A.R. 2 DLCs were released free for the PC in patches, though it's yet unknown whether 'Reborn' will too.

The four-level singleplayer campaign is played from the perspective of Replica Soldier Foxtrot813, who you can have a gander at in this eerie first trailer... Read more

F.E.A.R. 2 Trailer: Alma's Revenge

Feb 06, 2009 7:00pm CST tags: F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin, Trailer
Hey, it's another F.E.A.R 2: Project Origin trailer. This one gives a pretty decent overview of the setup, and ends with more of that little girl Alma. Who was ever really afraid of little girls, anyway? Nobody holding a big chainsaw gun, at least.

In any case, I'm starting to get a little excited about this one. The demo didn't surprise me, but the original F.E.A.R. was about as solid a shooter that you could ask for. We'll see.

Monolith's F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin hits PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on February 10. The PC demo is available on FileShack.

After playing the demo, I still wasn't sure if Monolith's F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin was going to be any good. But just as film commercials with tiny textual endorsements ease my mind, so too does this trailer.
