GameSpot has posted a Dark Messiah of Might & Magic preview, offering an updated look at the Source Engine powered action game. New media is included.

Valve Software sent out thiss press release, announcing that the Source Engine powered Dark Messiah of Might & Magic will be available through Steam when the game is released this October.

The single-player mode is developed by Arkane Studios and the multiplayer mode is by Kuju Entertainment. Named the most anticipated RPG of the year by leading publications around the world, Dark Messiah of Might & Magic challenges players to ferocious single-player and multiplayer combat set in the Might & Magic universe, one of the gaming industry's most successfully and longest-running fantasy game franchises.

GameSpot has been updated with the latest Dark Messiah of Might & Magic preview, going hands-on with the game's singleplayer campaign.

Thanks to RPGDot for word that Gamestop is carrying a Limited Edition Neverwinter Nights 2 release, while Amazon.com mentions a Dark Messiah of Might & Magic Limited Edition release. The NWN2 LE will come with a number of in-game extras (in addition to things like an art book) including a new feat, two special items and access to a unique weapon. The Dark Messiah LE will include 1 extra character skin for multiplayer, 4 extra singleplayer weapons, and a soundtrack CD among other things.

There's a new Dark Messiah of Might & Magic Q&A on Computer & Video Games today, asking the people at Arkane Studios and Kuju (multiplayer developers) all about the game.

Ubisoft sends along a singleplayer demo for Dark Messiah of Might & Magic, the Arkane Studios Source Engine powered action RPG. The whopping 1.4gb download includes a tutorial level and part of the game's first mission.

Ubisoft sends along the following low-res Dark Messiah of Might & Magic screenshots, which come from the multiplayer portion of the game developed by Kuju Entertainment. According to the fact sheet sent along with the screenshots, the game will ship with 5 maps which you can play in deathmatch, team deathmatch or Crusade modes. For three of those maps: Nar-Heresh, Vradek's Crossing and Nelsham's Scar, Ubisoft sends along more screenshots and a map overview. Might & Magic fan site Celestial Heavens has been updated with a Dark Messiah of Might & Magic Q&A, asking Alastair Halsby and Richard Underhill of Kuju Entertainment about the game's multiplayer support.

Splinter Cell: Double Agent isn't the only Ubisoft game delayed until October, as GameSpot reports that Dark Messiah of Might & Magic is now also due that month. Additionally, Resident Evil 4 for the PC has been delayed though no new release date for that game was announced.

Pro-G is the latest site with a Dark Messiah of Might & Magic preview, also going hands-on with the game's Crusade multiplayer mode.
