New at Eurogamer today is this Crysis Q&A. Cevat Yerli is asked about comparisons of Crysis of Far Cry, standout gameplay features, visuals, and console development.

September 25 is sure to bring relief to some lucky PC gamers and premonitions of system upgrade expense to others, as the Crysis single-player demo is released. The demo will contain the first level from the full game, and publisher EA promises it will showcase "a huge surprise from Crytek."

No minimum system requirements were released; Shacknews has contacted EA for more information. Along with the announcement came a new Crysis trailer showcasing the game's power-enhancing Nanosuit:

There are some brief Crysis impressions at Action Trip, reporting on the Games Convention presentation of the sci-fi action game.

EA revealed a November 16 release date today for Crytek's Crysis, the company's heavily anticipated PC shooter and followup to Far Cry. The game will retail simultaneously in North American and Europe.

"We're thankful to our fans for their support and patience, and we're excited to bring them Crysis this year," said Crytek CEO Cevat Yerli. "It's going to be worth the wait."

The announcement comes a day after EA execs said Crysis would retail in November during an analyst conference call. The game had a previous official release window of fiscal 2008.

According to Electronic Arts executives speaking during the company's latest analyst conference call, Crytek's highly anticipated first-person shooter Crysis has been delayed into the company's upcoming third fiscal quarter, which runs from October to December of this year. EA expects the game to release in early November.

Previously, Crysis was only officially confirmed as releasing in fiscal year 2008. Last month, various sources reported on a fact sheet claiming a September 14 ship date.

Executives also noted that EA Canada's FIFA 08 has been pushed back to the company's third fiscal quarter.

Two brief new Crysis movies have been released, showing off the visual differences between the DirectX9 and DirectX10 builds of the game. One clip features an Alien Hunter, the second movie takes place in the jungle.
