Like the original, Bound in Blood will tell its story from both characters' perspectives.
Developed by Techland and published by Ubisoft, Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood will rise on PC, Xbox 360 and PS3 this summer, though the South probably won't.
Due out this summer, the prequel to 2007's Call of Juarez will let players choose between Ray or Thomas in single-player, each with their own distinct characteristics. For example, one focuses on long-range combat, the other in close-range fighting.
Meanwhile, the multiplayer mode will pack objective team-based and death match modes, and a new bounty system that sees a player earn notoriety based on their kill count. The more kills a player has, the more you earn when you finally take them down.

The announcement further specified that "players can embody both McCall brothers" across the story, suggesting the possibility of a co-op campaign.
The original, which hit PC in 2006 and Xbox 360 in 2007, featured competitive and cooperative multiplayer modes, but did not allow co-op play of the main campaign.
