The publishing contract between Ravensburger Interactive and Headfirst Productions Limited for the development and publication of "Call of Cthulhu : Dark Corners of the Earth" has been terminated by Headfirst Productions Limited for breach of contract by Ravensburger Interactive. The game's development continues unabated and is now scheduled for release early in 2003. A further statement will be issued when a new publisher for this title has been foundPublishing enquiries should be sent to Mike Woodroffe.
The one reason is, that the product is seriously delayed, the last milestone plan we received from Headfirst -- the developers, said that they...well, the plan was first to release in November of 2001. Then we put an additional budget in it, and set for June 2002. Now we have the new milestone plan, which arrived I think three weeks ago, which says Spring 2003. So this is something we have to manage with the studio, and we're willing to do this, but this is one reason why it's not here.
