Another C&C Generals Delay

GameSpy Daily, which first had word of a C&C Generals delay from this year to January (story), is now reporting that EA Pacific's 3D RTS has been delayed again. Not a big delay, from January 21 until February 11. Public testing of this game should start pretty soon.

C&C Generals Test Signup Delay

Westwood sends word that the signup date for the C&C Generals multiplayer test has been changed. People will now be able to sign up October 11 (you can sign up from 10AM till 2AM central time) instead of October 10. Three thousand people will be able to beta test C&C Generals.

Westwood sent out this press release announcing plans for a C&C Generals multiplayer test. Three thousand people will be able to test the multiplayer part of the new 3D RTS starting October 25. New on GameSpy today is a C&C Generals preview, taking another look at this upcoming 3D RTS. There are plenty of quotes from producers Mark Skaggs and Harvard Bonin and designer Dustin Browder and a couple of missions in the game are described, along with advantages for each playable nation.
