Burnout 'Cops and Robbers' DLC Trailerized

The Cops and Robbers pack for Burnout Paradise went live today, and the folks at developer Criterion produced the following trailer to entice a download or two.

The pack--which includes the new online game mode and 33 new cop vehicles--sells for $10 on the PlayStation Network, or 800 Microsoft Points on the Xbox 360.

Burnout Paradise Arrives on Steam

The PC release of Criterion's open-world racer Burnout Paradise is now on Steam, following through on last week's tease that it would hit the digital distribution platform. The Steam download is priced at $39.99, same as the retail version.

The PC version premiered in early February, packed with all of the downloadable content that had hit the consoles by that time, including the offline multiplayer Party Pack.

If you've yet to experience the game, be sure to check out the free trial version.

Here are all four trailers for the upcoming Burnout Paradise Legendary Cars pack, editing together into a comprehensive video of nostalgic autos.

The four cars will sell for $7.99 as a pack. Each car will be $1.99 separately, with the DeLorean selling for $3.99 outside of the four-pack.

The cars hit Xbox Live and the PlayStation Network tomorrow, with a PC release following sometime after.

Burnout Paradise Legendary Cars Coming Thursday

Developer Criterion has announced that the Burnout Paradise Legendary Cars DLC pack will be released on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 this Thursday, February 19.

The pack includes four cars from cinematic and television history: the DeLorean from Back to the Future, The Ecto-1 from Ghostbusters, General Lee from Dukes of Hazard, and KITT from Knight Rider.

Shacker Layer0730 sends word that in-game information lists each car at $1.99, with the DeLorean running $3.99. The full pack will cost $7.99.

While the DLC will make it to the PC, no date has been nailed down. Shacknews has contacted EA for more information.

Developer Criterion has revealed that the next DLC pack for its racer Burnout Paradise will see the addition of cops and robbers-style chases.

The premium DLC, titled the "Cops and Robbers Pack," will bring the "thrills and spills of cops and robbers car chases in Paradise City." The pack is set to be released following the already-announced Party Pack, Legendary Cars, Toy Cars and Boost Specials updates.

News of the mode comes from the in-game Criterion Games Network, where exclusive screenshots of the pack can now be found.
