Breed Demo Content Info

The guys at Computer & Video Games have some info on the upcoming Breed demo which was originally supposed to be released early October but has been delayed (the story mentions a possible late November date now). Besides one single-player mission called Operation FortDelta, there will be a technical demo part which 'will allow you to "mess around" with Breed's vehicles and aliens'. The news story also mentions what you get to do in the Operation FortDelta mission.

Breed Delay

German publisher CDV has announced that their sci-fi shooter Breed has been delayed. Originally due out this year, it's now a Q2 2003 release. The extra time will be used for extra graphical features and the ability to use player created content. A demo is still planned for this year. Update: another email from CDV mentions a first quarter 2003 date instead of a second quarter one.

Breed Demo Delay

According to this forum post on the CDV forums, the planned Breed demo will not be released today. Supposedly there were "technical problems". Later in the thread someone from Brat Designs confirms the delay. A new release date is not mentioned. Thanks GSD.

According to this post on the Adrenaline Vault, CDV will be releasing a demo of the sci-fi FPS Breed early October. This demo will contain a tutorial and a single-player level.

The guys at ProGamerz have posted a shakycam movie from Breed, the upcoming sci-fi action FPS, captured during the recent German Games Convention. It requires a 20mb download. There is also a less than favorable writeup on the game on the site.
