The "chaps" at Computer & Video Games have posted a Q&A with Jonty Barnes, head of Black & White Studios where they are currently working on Black & White 2. Questions are about areas that need improving over the original, feedback received after the first game that's being used, enhancement of the creature/pet part, epic battles and more.

I don't know how many people want a Black & White 2 after getting burned on the original game (I know, not everyone was), but here are some more details about that game on GameSpot. They talked to Lionhead's Peter Molyneux and also scored a few screenshots.

The official Creature Isle website has been updated with the news that this Black & White expansion will be released January 18. What this expansion adds is listed on the site so go there if you didn't get bored of B&W after a week.

PC.IGN has posted an interview with that one guy from Lionhead, Peter Molyneux. They hot chat about Creature Isles, the upcoming expansion pack for Black & White. There's also some stuff about Black & White 2 in there.

This is the first mention I've seen of this, yet another game that Peter Molyneux has his hands in. A project currently codenamed Dimitri. This game is not Black&White2 or Creature Isle but something different. One would only assume there is a cow or monkey that you can pet in the game but details are still sketchy.

Peter Molyneux talked about role-playing games as one of his favorite types of games, and he had some very concrete ideas about what he might like to see in an RPG. The central theme of his idea is a living world that reacts to players' actions and changes over time--an idea that extends what Molyneux has already done in Black & White in terms of creature development and the effect of a player's alignment in the world.

The GSI guys have a preview of the new Creature Isles title that was announced by Molyneaux and company at ECTS the other day. I eagerly anticipate finding new ways to pet my monkey.

Got a few things related to Molyneaux, Black&White and all that stuff. Firstly in case you missed it Black&White2 was announced at ECTS. Lionhead has released another addon for those still playing Black & White. This time it's the football add-on. Or "soccer" for those barbarians who like to call it that. It's a 1.15mb download. Thanks Blues News.

GSUK has a story about a new Black&White mini-sequel (Thanks Stomped) scheduled for release in a couple of months. It will be just a single new island with a bunch of creatures on it. B&W only managed to retain my interest for about 3 days. Bummer.

Looks like someone is really dropping the ball on this one. The official Black & White site mentions that the official patch for the game is still being delayed by the QA department, and thus the planned updates to the game have been delayed as well.

Black & White Center has a news update saying voice acting outtakes has been released. Of course this is for entertainment purposes only and doesn't enhance your game in any way.

Can it be? Lionhead has actually released a developer beta patch for Black & White. Unsupported and untested by Electronic Arts, this patch comes with a good amount of fixes as seen on the download page. And guess what? It's on Fileplanet, yay! It's a 8.4mb file. Saw that on VE.
