BioShock Limited Edition Details

2K's Cult of Rapture website has been updated, offering details on the Limited Edition release of BioShock. Due out August 21 alongside the regular edition, the LE will include a Big Daddy figurine, a "Making Of" DVD and a soundtrack CD. The site is also currently running a contest where people can design the cover art for this Limited Edition.
The BioShock Limited Edition will be available to US and Canada exclusively at GameStop and EB for US$59.99 (PC LE) and US$69.99 (Xbox 360 LE). The Limited Edition will also be available in Europe and details about ordering a copy will be coming soon.

BioShock Release Date Slips (Updated)

According to an update on 2K Games' Cult of Rapture site, courtesy of community manager Elizabeth Tobey, the release date for Irrational Games' BioShock (X360, PC) has slipped to Tuesday, August 21. Previously, the game was announced as hitting retail shelves some time in June.

Update: 2K Games has contacted Shacknews with word that the European street date for BioShock is currently August 24.
