Guild Wars E3 Demo

According to this GameSpot story, ArenaNet will open their online RPG Guild Wars during the three days of E3 (May 12 - 14). People will only need a 100kb client, which will then download 30mb of assets from the ArenaNet servers. ArenaNet is a developer co-founded by several ex-Blizzard designers, and this first project will not require monthly fees despite it being an online RPG.

This press release found on the newly opened Guild Wars website officially announces this mission-based online role playing game from Seattle-based ArenaNet. ArenaNet is a new company founded by several ex-Blizzard folks. Some screenshots from the game can be found here. NCsoft is publishing the game in the second half of 2004.
