Ensemble Studios has released another new screenshot from Age of Mythology, their upcoming 3D RTS. And according to a post on Evil Avatar, the multiplayer alpha testing of the game will finally start in about 7 to 10 days.

AOM Alpha Signup

You can now sign up for the Age of Mythology alpha test as promised. The signup period is until Sunday the 30th, so it doesn't really matter if you're first. Up to 10,000 people will be able to test Ensemble's upcoming 3D RTS.

AOM Beta Plans

As expected, the Ensemble Studios site now offers more information on the upcoming 10,000 player beta test of Age of Mythology, their upcoming 3D RTS game. People will be able to sign up between June 21 and June 30, at Microsoft.com or at the Ensemble Studios website. Here's what's being tested
This alpha version of Age of Mythology will contain two of the nine civilizations that will be available when the game is released this October. Up to four players will be able to compete head-to-head as a follower of either Zeus or Poseidon on one of two multiplayer maps. This limited alpha version of the game will be available to qualified testers in early July.

Got an email from Ensemble Studios saying they will announce plans for a 10,000 player beta of Age of Mythology on Monday. Ensemble's 3D RTS is due out later this year.
