Developer Autumn Moon today released A Vampyre Story, a classic-style point-and-click PC adventure game created and written by former LucasArts artist Bill Tiller.

The humorous and whimsical game follows an opera singer and her mischievous bat as she come to terms with her gloomy vampiric afterlife after an untimely demise.

During his nine years at LucasArts, Tiller worked on many fondly remembered adventure games, including The Curse of Monkey Island, Indiana Jones and the Infernal Machine, and The Dig. He also worked on a cancelled Full Throttle sequel, Payback.

Priced at $29.99, A Vampyre Story is now available to purchase and download from GamersGate. Other "decent" download services should get the game soon, according to the official blog, with a free demo now available at FileShack.
