Heres how i break this game down on a scale from 1 to 10

First Off

Graphics-8-At first i was amazed by this games graphics and everything from weapon design to creature design screamed style. But not far into the game i started to notice little glitches in the graphics that were not huge but just annoying and some of the textures were kinda on the gritty side so i have graphics a solid eight.

Gameplay-9 1/2-Yet again at first the gameplay seemed superior to anything that has come before. The control setup even with defualt keys is brillant and works well with the game. The game responses smoothly and it is easy to get around in the enviroment. But my one tiny itsy bisty thing with the game play was some of the stages of the game are really really really hard. But overall this defect in tiny and the game still flows nicely and halflife hangs on with a nine and a half outta ten.

Multiplayer-10-This game has the most superior multiplayer ever found in any game period. the massive mod community offers an endless string of gameplay possiblities from World war 2 (Day of Defeat) to the Matrix (Existence) to tactical combat (Counter-Strike). It is the best multiplayer game ever.
