Soul Calibur is the fighting game that all others are measured against, and fail, even DOA3. While Soul Calibur lacks some of DOA3's advanced graphics (bouncing boobies) it more than makes up for it in depth of play and better characters.

I could go on, but instead I will say that Soul Calibur is such a good game that after discovering it after Christmas 2001 at a friends house, I scoured my town for a Dreamcast, finally finding a used one in a pawn shop, and then spent three hours finding a vender on line that had a copy of this game.
