This is easily one of the best games out there. It's basically all of the things that made Castlevania 2 so damn good, coupled with many things that made Super Metroid so damn good. You can't beat a combination like that.

The greatest part is that as the game progresses, [like Metroid] your character [Alucard] gains abilities that affect gameplay, such as double jumps or the ability to be a bat. It's just a great game, and if you play it right, it ends up being twice as long as it's supposed to be [play it to find out ... Holy Glasses].

It's a must play.
