Namco Bandai's modern spin on its legendary Pac-Man character is coming to the PlayStation Store tomorrow, in the form of a PlayStation Mini.

Listed in a recent post on the PlayStation Blog (and priced and dated in the comments), the original Pac-Man Championship Edition will launch alongside the rest of the PSN's fresh content tomorrow, priced at $4.99.

This marks the debut for the original Championship Edition on a PlayStation platform, which started as a Xbox 360-exclusive before it was pushed to the iOS platform. In late 2010, the sequel Pac-Man Championship Edition DX landed on the PlayStation Store and Xbox Live Arcade.

Well documented to be the cause for many of my sleepless nights, Pac-Man Championship Edition is a wonderful new take on the classic franchise featuring the ability for hating your friends and family with a passion for eclipsing your high scores.

As a "Mini" title, Pac-Man Championship Edition does not include online features--leaderboards, specifically--meaning relationships will suffer no greater strain than they already have.

This is good news. I like the "original" CE better than the DX version and since I no longer have a 360 itt will be nice to be able to play it again. One question though, will I be able to play this on the PSP as well?

minis are mainly PSP games, but some of them also work on the PS3.

I'm curious what this one will look like on the PS3, if it's just PSP res visuals upscaled then no thanks :(
