Ubisoft Accepting User-Submitted Photos for Final Level in Child of Eden

1
Ubisoft has revealed a new initiative, giving gamers the ability to contribute to a level in the upcoming Q? Entertainment title, Child of Eden.

The 'Journey Project' will take user-submitted photos showcasing gamers' favorite memories and insert them into the game. Submissions for "happy and positive images" open today on the official Child of Eden website and will close on November 20, 2010. Approved images will be featured in the game's final level.

"The theme of Child of Eden is 'Hope and Happiness' and I want players to experience happy feelings every time they play the game," Q? Entertainment studio founder and Child of Eden creative director Tetsuya Mizuguchi said in a press release. "I need your help to convey these positive emotions."

Child of Eden is expected to hit retail in early 2011 for the Xbox 360--with support for the upcoming Kinect motion-sensing controller--and the PS3. For an in depth look, make sure to read our hands-on preview of the game.
