PlayStation Network Down for Maintenance Tomorrow, PS Store Update Coming Today

A round of "regular scheduled maintenance" will bring the PlayStation Network down tomorrow from "just after" 8am PST through to around 5pm PST, Sony has announced on its PlayStation.Blog.

"Users won't be able to access the PlayStation Store, PlayStation Home or Account Management, and may encounter difficulty while signing in to PSN," Sony explains.

Due to the maintenance disruption, the PlayStation Store's weekly content update will be shifted forward from its typical Tuesday afternoon slot to tonight.

    Alert the internet! The PSN store needs more ps3 games. It's got tons of PSP games but the lack of PS3 games is a bit odd. I'd like to see the shift from buying retails to digital distribution more with consoles in the future...
