Rather than continue the story of James Bond from the character's most recent crop of films, developer Bizarre Creations has developed a new adventure with the appropriate amount of Bond-style "twists" and "turns" in James Bond 007: Blood Stone.

James Bond 007: Blood Stone also features a multiplayer mode, described as almost a "mini stand alone story." The objective-based mode--for up to 16-players--pits a team of MI-6 attempting to stop a team of mercs who are attempting to complete a series of objectives.

For those looking for more intel on the Activision published title, make sure to watch the game's first developer diary, above.

James Bond 007: Blood Stone is set to launch on the PC, Xbox 360, PS3 and Nintendo DS this "holiday season."
