Three New Maps Revealed for Halo: Reach Including Two Halo 2 Re-Makes

11
Ivory Tower and Midship, two classic maps from Bungie's Halo 2, will be remade/re-imagined in Halo: Reach.

Ivory Tower will become "Reflection" and is as close to a remake as you are going to get, with minor changes to fit Halo: Reach's physics, according to IGN. Midship becomes "Zealot", but will be going through a major change in the transition, gaining a third level of elevation that takes place in space, complete with low-gravity.

Spire, a third map new for Halo: Reach, has also been revealed for the game's Invasion gametype. In it, Spartan players will start on a beach assault a giant Covenant tower in this vertical map. All three maps can be seen in video form at IGN.

Didn't they remake Midship as Halo 3 DLC?

Yeah, it was Heretic in Halo 3.

The map's core design, however, is based on Midship.

While it is based on midship, did you notice the 3rd floor they added? looks pretty sweet. Its in space so when you go out there low gravity turns on.

Yeah I know, why would space be low grav vs zero grav. I have no idea, but it looks fun :)
