Dead Space 2 Dated for January 2011

Visceral Games' sci-fi horror sequel Dead Space 2 will be released for PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on January 25, 2011, in North America, EA has announced.

Dead Space 2 will see Dead Space hero Isaac Clarke "battling dementia" as he wades through necromorphs in the abandoned "full city" of The Sprawl. Luckily, he's armed with new weapons including a javelin gun which delightfully pins enemies to the wall.

"The story of Isaac, the necromorphs and the whole Dead Space fiction has much more to reveal, said executive producer Steve Papoutsis in a press release. "Dead Space 2 adds another dimension to the complex world and characters that inhabit this universe."

The European release will follow on January 28.

good to see that PC is official now. Improve the port please (like ridiculous v-sync bull, and not being able to remap keypad without hacking the config file)

I would be hppy if the game was not so dull and boring first was a massive let down it was so bland.

The game play of the first was poor at best hope they will do some thing to make this worth buying after the waste of money that was the first.

Are you thinking of the same game? Yeah, the missions were a bit repetative (have to get over there, but can't without doing this first), but that's not what this game was about. It's about atmosphere and being too scared to activate an objective.

There was no atmosphere you keew every thing so far ahead you could not be scared.

Every time you walk in a room the only question to you had to ask was 3 steps or 5 before the mobs burst in the room that can not scared any one.

Ya you're right. I think the next one should come with a device that grabs you by the nuts and squeezes at random times. That might be put the fear into you? lol
