The very first trailer for Artplant and Bigpoint's free-to-play web-based MMO Battlestar Galactica Online has been released to celebrate next week's E3 2010 festivities.

Powered by Unity--the same technology used in EA's Tiger Woods PGA Tour Online and Bigpoint's The Mummy Online, among others--the sci-fi MMO is due to launch this fall.

Such a fantastic show. Definitely not the type that needed a game. I suppose I'll withhold judgment...though I know I won't ever be playing it myself.

I loved the show, both of them. MMO's, unless they are WoW, usually tank within the first few months. I'd love for this to work out for them, but I won't get my hopes up. I'll try it when it comes out. I'm soooo being a cylon.
