The third "VIP Map Pack" for Battlefield: Bad Company 2 will hit PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on June 9, maker DICE has revealed, bringing the Squad Deathmatch multiplayer mode to the Nelson Bay map and Squad Rush to Laguna Alta.

The add-on will be available free to those that bought the game new on PlayStation 3 or Xbox 360 and then redeemed the "VIP Code" included in its packaging. Those with a second-hand copy of the game, meanwhile, must pay a one-time fee of 1200 Microsoft Points / $15 for the "VIP Membership" needed to obtain the otherwise free content.

All PC players, meanwhile, will get the maps "after the release of the next update."

I wish there were some more maps like Arica Harbor in Rush Mode. Just normal Rush Mode. That map illustrate the absolute awesomeness of the game with tank on tank battles, good sniping abilities and towards the end, excellent hand/hand assault stuff.

100% with you. I've moved away from BC2 toward new games, but I'd go back in a heartbeat if there were new maps in Rush that I could play. I do love me some tank battles.

Helo on Helo battles are sweet too, too bad the only option there is that fragmented conquest map.
