Sam & Max 'Penal Zone' Demo Arrives

Those looking to try before they buy can now do so with Sam & Max: The Penal Zone, as developer Telltale has released a playable sample of the episodic adventure game.

Weighing in at 436MB, the PC demo can be found over on FileShack alongside the 443MB sample of the Mac edition.

The Penal Zone represents the first of five monthly installments in the third season of the episodic series, collectively referred to as "The Devil's Playhouse" and sold at $34.95 by Steam and Telltale itself. Those that buy from either Steam or Telltale during the next week will get three unique in-game items for Team Fortress 2, with those that buy from Telltale also eligible to get a Collector's DVD for the price of shipping.

Along with PC and Mac, The Penal Zone is available for download on iPad via iTunes and PlayStation 3 via the online PlayStation Store, which also offers a demo.

    ooo, didn't realize they went with the collective method on Sam & Max, too. I really hated buying each one individually.
